PLL LNBs with 10 Mhz Internal Reference Source built in are easy to use and the most common LNBs used in todays V-SAT environment. Due to pretty good stability values reaching down to 10 kHz only, they are suited to track also smaller carriers. For all applications in which modern DVB-S2 ACM carriers must be tracked, PLL LNBs are an absolute must to avoid modulation interferrances.
The LNB built in reference source of 10 Mhz is not requiring to apply external 10 Mhz source signal from the satellite modem.
