IP.SNG - Media Content Contribution and HDTV BroadcastingThe lable IP.SNG stands for all Level421 systems used for media contribution and HDTV transmissions.
Due to modern compact technology, upstreams up to 8 megabits are possible. So live media streams without complicated registration procedures of a broadband dedicated line becomes reality.
IP.SNG comes in two versions: 
IP.SNG V1 offers a solution for the whole of Europe, which can easily be handled by the editor himself and does not require an SNG enginieer. The system comes with a 0.60, 0.85 or 1.2 meter antenna, depending on media requirements.
Telemetry and control unit are integrated into a 19 inch rack. The system is always ON and connected to the internet, which reduces the time to be ready for transmission down to zero.
IP.SNG V2 covers a larger area and is based on C-Band, which is extremely stable in difficult weather conditions. Upstreams of up to 8 Megabits or even more, are possible.
Level421 uses a 100% IP platform, which enables video-streaming through encoding with MPEG4 up to HDTV standard. Transmit rates of 1, 2, 4 or even 8 megabits upstream 'on demand - live' are possible.
The solution is based on IP Multi Carrier Cluster Technology, which gives high stability with lowest protocol overhead. This ensures high stability data transmission at unbelievable speeds. The broadcast centre is connected by SDSL, bridging directly towards the Level421 satellite NOC in Germany.
Additionally a permanent high speed internet connection with telephony, fax or video conferencing centre is available for the editor. This allows to prepare live broadcastings, controlled by the broadcasting centre, and a professional set-up of programmes. Click below to download data sheet:
